If the database you are converting from is in 2008 to 2013 version and you do not have the older version of the software on the same machine anymore, when you are trying to open this database directly in Sage 50 2016, the following messages appear:

Solution: install a trial version of Sage 50 2015 on the same machine, open the database directly in Sage 50 2016 version, the conversion will start
